Our partnership with Robinhood army (RHA) :

Robinhood army is a volunteer organization that has thousands of young professionals and citizens who have taken to the streets in their free time to fight global hunger – the team collects surplus food from restaurants and distributes it to the less fortunate. In five years, the RHA has served food to 85.6 million people across 10 nations globally. The team, which is now a Harvard case study, has a strict NO-FUNDS approach and scales up through social media and partnerships.

ABP Network has been partnering with Robin Hood Army for their Food drive, Children academy and Senior Patrol initiatives since 2018. With a long-standing association with Robin-Hood Army (RHA), ABP Network has been on the forefront in making a positive societal impact. ABP Network provided continuous support in populating these initiatives, by promoting them on their news channels, and through influencer engagement on social media thus inspiring plenty of volunteers to join the cause.

Senior Patrol – Vaccination Drive 2021

As India launched one of the world’s largest mass vaccination exercises in January 2021, ABP Network & RHA started the process of assisting the senior citizens in the vaccination drive across 78 cities.Under this special campaign called #SeniorPatrol, ABP-RHA worked towards fast-tracking COVID-19 vaccination for millions of senior citizens. ABP Network helped Robin Hood Army in reaching out to wider audiences by promoting the initiative on their news channels and inspiring more volunteers to join the cause.

Senior Patrol – Covid 19 Food drive 2020

During the nationwide lockdown in 2020 , elderly citizens residing alone or away from their families were grappling with sourcing essentials like groceries and medicines. RHA volunteers came to their rescue by delivering these essentials at their doorstep.

In order to communicate this initiative , RHA & ABP Network undertook a campaign to inform the seniors on how to reach out to all the Robins for help.This campaign was carried out across 123 cities and thousands of elderly citizens received relief via this.

Mission 30 million 2020

ABP Network partnered with Robin Hood Army (RHA) for their national campaign #Mission30M. This initiative was designed to serve 30 million meals to people most affected by hunger-related issues across rural and urban areas.

ABP Network helped RHA promote this initiative on its national and regional channels along with its digital platform ABP Live. This campaign ran for over a month and was supported by editorial coverage of the drives in various cities.This initiative helped serve 23.3 million people across 160 cities in 8 nations.

Our CSR Policy :

With the purpose of modeling progressive and sustainable communities, our CSR focuses on:

  • Promoting education, including special education and employment enhancing vocational skills, especially among children, women, elderly and the differently abled and livelihood enhancing projects;

  • Promoting preventive health care and sanitation;

  • Protection of national heritage, art and culture through promotion and development of traditional arts;

  • Promoting rural development projects;

  • Such other projects and activities as may be recommended by the CSR Committee of the Board

The intent is to be proactive towards the welfare of the underprivileged and marginalized communities, socially and economically disadvantaged groups and the society at large.Our efforts are aligned to Section 135 of the Companies Act 2013, as recommended by the CSR Committee of the Board. We always strive to implement the aforesaid CSR activities on our own as well as in partnership with other players by :

  • Collaborating and pooling resources with various organizations, which are registered as a Trust or a section 8 company under the Companies Act, 2013 or Society or NGOs or any other form of entity incorporated in India that specialize in the aforesaid activities

  • By contributing to various funds which are aligned with our vision.

ABP Network allocates a budget on CSR, which is in line with Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013. The corpus for the purpose of carrying on the aforesaid activities include the following:

  • 2% of the average Net Profit made by the Company during immediately preceding three Financial Years.

  • Any income arising therefrom.

  • Surplus arising out of CSR activities carried out by the company and such surplus is not part of business profit of the company.

Our CSR Policy implementation is periodically reviewed and monitored by the CSR Committee of the Board.
